Questions about custom printing
Q: What can be printed on boxers, lounge pants,
scrubs and tote bags?
A: We can print just about anything including text,
graphics, logos and images. Single color printing
is less expensive than multiple color, but we can
print multi-colored graphics and logos. We can also print team numbers.
Q: Can you do all-over prints?
A: Yes, but... All-over prints have to be manufactured
of pre-printed fabric and have a minimum quantity
of 1,500 pair. For quantities under 1,500 pair, we
do not offer all-over printing. For quantities over 1500 pieces, please contact us at sales@webundies.com.
Q: Can you print on a waistband?
A: Yes, depending on the style you choose.
Q: Can I order just a few items and what is the cost?
A: Our minimum order of screen printed items is 100
pieces.
Q: We need 100 pair now and a maybe a few pieces
later. The price will still be the same won't it?
A: No. Pricing is based on the quantity of each order
and is not cumulative. Tip: always order a few
extra. There is always that person you did not think
about or the person who always changes their mind
at the last minute and decides they want something. If the second order is small, there will be additional set-up fees.
Q: Can you help me design the logo?
A: Yes, we have an artist who can work with you
to design a logo. We also have some stock logos
available. Orders include design of simple art. For
complex designs, art charges may apply.
Q: What does camera-ready artwork mean?
A: Camera-ready art is basically clean artwork
that is the logo or design of what you are looking
to have printed on the garment. It has
no other color or shading and is suitable for scanning
into a computer. Sometimes quality printed stationary
will work. Usually business cards are too small.
Artwork
generated in a computer will usually work but must
be in one of several formats including EPS, FH, PDF,
JPEG, GIF and TIFF and should be a high resolution
copy.
Q: If I place my order today how long does it take
to produce my order?
A: It normally takes about two weeks to complete
custom orders. If we guarantee your order by a particular
date we will do our best to meet that date. If your
order is unique and takes longer than two weeks we
will inform you of this prior to you placing the order. For rush orders, an additional fee will be charged.
Q: Can you print a logo on any of the items on your
site?
A: Yes, it is easier to put a logo or design on the
boxers or lounge pants listed in our custom section,
but we can print on almost any of the styles we sell.
Our art department will work with you to try to find
the best way to print on those items.
Q: Can I order custom printed boxers, lounge pants,
and scrubs together on the same order?
A: Absolutely. As long as the minimum of 100 pieces
is met, you can mix and match the items, sizes and
colors. The printing must be the same location on
all the items with the same ink color(s). Changing
colors or print locations involves additional screens
and set-up.
Q: Can I return some of them if I don't use them
all?
A: Since these are customized products, we cannot
accept any returns.
Q: Can I get a sample of the item?
A: Yes. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required
for all samples. The $25 can be applied to an order
if the sample is returned.
Q: How can I save money?
A: Order larger quantities or reduce the number
of ink colors. For boxers, lounge pants and scrubs,
an order of at least
18
dozen (216
pair) in even dozens
with a lead time of at least 3 weeks can have an
additional savings. Ask us about this when placing
the order.
Q: How does the process work?
A: Here are the steps:
- You: review the info on our site, decide on the
items and submit the information
- WebUndies: will contact you for additional details
and to arrange for the art to be presented in a
"proof" which will be sent to you
- You: will receive a proof of the art and how
it will look and the details of your order for
your approval.
- You: will approve (or revise) the proof and will
provide a 50% deposit for the printing to start.
- WebUndies: will print the items, package them
and ship them to you. UPS Ground service the the
U.S. is included. If faster shipping is required,
you will pay the cost difference between the ground
service and the service requested.
You can cancel an order up until the time printing
commences. Once an order is printed, there can be
no cancellations. A restocking fee of 30% will be
charged if an order is cancelled between acceptance
of the proof, but before the start of printing.
